AD/HD, Autism & Learning Evaluations for Adults

Clarity for focus, learning, and social-emotional patterns

I offer thoughtful, strengths-based evaluations that help you understand your brain, your patterns, and your path forward, with no judgment, no rush.

A Compassionate Approach to Lifelong Questions

It’s never too late to ask:
“Why has this always been hard for me?”
“Could it be AD/HD or autism?”
“What if there’s actually a name for this?”

Whether you’re in your 20s or your 50s, the answer is the same: you deserve clarity and support. I offer respectful, neurodiversity-affirming evaluations for adults seeking answers about focus, learning, and/ or social-emotional differences.

We’ll move at your pace, explore your story, and build a plan that helps things make sense — maybe for the first time in a long time.

Who This Is For

What We Might Explore

My Approach

I know that reaching out for an evaluation can bring up a lot of feelings like relief, fear, hope, self-doubt… sometimes all at once. I approach every adult evaluation with understanding, patience, and a focus on helping you make sense of your experiences.

Here’s what working with me is like:

You’re the expert on your lived experience.

My role is to help you make sense of it, not to challenge or dismiss it.

Testing is collaborative.

I take the time to understand your story, not just your scores. We start with a conversation about what’s going on and what you hope to learn about yourself.

No pressure, no rushing.

Sessions are paced around you. If you need breaks, pauses, or flexibility, that’s built in.

You’ll get a strengths-based report.

Your evaluation won’t be a list of deficits. It’s a full picture of what’s working, what’s challenging, and what supports might help, all written in a way that feels honest, kind, and useful.

I provide a clear roadmap.

After reviewing your results, I give actionable guidance and next steps. You’ll leave knowing what to do, how to use the information, and how to move forward with confidence.

Your Step-by-Step Guide to the Evaluation

Intake Interview (Virtual)

We’ll start with a relaxed, one-on-one conversation over video. This is where I’ll learn more about you, what’s been going on, and what you’re hoping to figure out. We’ll also go over your history and any forms or background information you’ve shared.

In-Person Testing

Testing takes place at my office in Richmond, and usually happens over one or two sessions. I follow your lead when it comes to pacing. Some people need breaks, some need snacks, and some prefer to come on my “flex day” if they need a quieter space.

Feedback Session (Virtual)

Once testing is complete and I’ve reviewed everything, we’ll meet again by video to go over the results. I’ll walk you through the findings, talk through any diagnoses (as applicable), and share specific, realistic recommendations you can actually use.

Roadmap Report

You’ll receive a comprehensive written report that puts everything together: scores, patterns, insights, and next steps. I write these to be understandable and practical, something you can share with teachers, therapists, or just keep for yourself. Reports are generally completed within one week of the final testing session, depending on the time of year and completion of all required materials. Results are reviewed together in a virtual appointment.

I share my knowledge about the brain in a way that helps people understand they aren’t broken.

Let’s Start With a Conversation

If you’re wondering whether testing is the right next step, let’s talk it through together.
If you simply need guidance for how to handle difficult behaviors at home, we can talk through that too!
